More about my approach and experience
I work from a trauma-informed and sensitive lens, supporting people navigating emotional dysregulation, relationship changes, parenting challenges, and grief. I have a special interest in working with helping professionals, those living with anxiety or loss, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting the mental health and well-being of clients from all walks of life. My experience includes working as a crisis and clinical counsellor in employee assistance programs and at a major Canadian university. I’ve also conducted assessments in an ADHD clinic, contributed to research on ADHD, mindfulness, ecotherapy, and addictions, and more recently, have begun offering leadership and clinical supervision to other Social Workers in the field.
I hold a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology in Education and a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto. My practice is shaped by my earlier work as an Early Childhood Educator, and further training in cybercounselling, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness meditation.
